Rollins Baked Beans Review!

Rollins Baked Beans
These have to be the best baked beans ever. I have made these many times and they are always a hit. There is never any left.
The sausage gives them such

 a great flavor. I
have never ventured away from this recipe but

I do think I want to try some onions in it eventually.  But you can't go wrong with these. They are delicious.

Ingredients:

Brown sausage

Add catsup

Add soy sauce

Add brown sugar

Add vinegar

Mix together

Bring to a boil briefly

Add beans

Pour in oven dish-bake in 350 degrees for 50 minutes

Recipe:

  • 1 1/2 lb ground sausage (see note below)
  • 1 large (28 oz or so) or 2 regular (15 oz or so) cans pork 'n' beans
  • 1/2 cup catsup
  • 1 Tbs Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tbs brown sugar
  • 2 Tbs vinegar
Fry the sausage (till well done), then drain off the fat. Add catsup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and vinegar. Bring to a boil briefly. Add the beans to the sausage and mix well. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.

This recipe works extremely well when doubled or tripled. One pound of sausage (per recipe) works fairly well if the sausage has a good, hearty taste and you don't have the requisite pound and half.
I made these for a picnic we went to so I don't have a picture of it on the plate.  There wasn't any left at all to bring home and put on a plate. :)
Enjoy!
