My bamboo planted in November

I wanted to show you how pretty this
bamboo is blowing in the wind. I planted
this in late November and it is doing great. I love it.

Let me know if you have any questions.

It Survived!!!

IT HAS SURVIVED!!!

My bamboo that I planted days before the first deep freeze has survived ALL the freezes of this nasty winter we had here in Texas.

It's a little yellow and a little dry but still most of it is still green. Woo- Hoo!!  It is doing great.

So today I decided to help it along by fertilizing it with

Since Bamboo is in the grass family, this makes sense to me.  It's also Kid and Pet Friendly. A big plus.

I sprinkled about 3/4 of a cup around each plant

Then I watered it really well

I cut off the stalks that were leaning out to far.

Now I will sit back and watch it grow. Can't wait for it to take off.
