Thyme For Mushrooms Review!!

THYME FOR MUSHROOMS 

These are very tasty and very easy to make. I think next time I

 will add just a touch less of the thyme but overall these are delicious. 

INGREDIENTS:




Quarter mushrooms


Spray skillet with cooking spray-Add mushrooms

Ad garlic

Fry for 3 or 4 minutes

Add thyme


Add sherry cooking wine


Add butter

Cook for 3 or 4 more minutes

Add salt and pepper


 Looks and smells so good

Remove and enjoy!!


RECIPE:

1/2 POUND OR 8 OUNCES FO WHOLE MUSHROOMS
1 GARLIC CLOVE, MINCED
SCANT 1/2 TEASPOON DRIED THYME
1 TABLESPOON SHERRY WINE OR SWEET VERMOUTH
1 TEASPOON BUTTER OR MARGARINE
1/8 TEASPOON SALT
PEPPER TO TASTE

DIRECTIONS:
SPRAY A MEDIUM SAUTE PAN WITH NONSTICK COOKING SPRAY AND PLACE OVER MEDIUM HIGH HEAT.

ADD THE MUSHROOMS AND GARLIC. COOK FOR 3 TO 4 MINUTES, STIRRING OFTEN.

CRUSH THE THYME WITH YOUR FINGERS AND STIR INTO THE MUSHROOMS.

ADD THE SHERRY AND CONTINUE TO COOK UNTIL MOST OF THE LIQUID IS EVAPORATED, ABOUT 3 TO 4 MINUTES. ADD THE BUTTER, SALT AND PEPPER. TOSS TO COAT, AND SERVE.
