Hope and Freedom Walk!

4:30 am came early. We got up and went on the
Hope and Freedom Walk this morning. It was Houston's

1st annual Walk a thon. They had a great turnout.
800 plus people. Awesome turnout!

Don and Meagan

Girls that have been rescued make these beautiful scarves.
Meagan got the orange one and I got Laci and myself a red one.
These bracelets are also made by the girls. The black symbolizes the darkness
they were in and the silver symbolizes the hope for their future.
Each bracelet come with a tag with a letter and a number on it.
The letter is the first letter of the girls name, and the number is the age
when she was first trafficked.
We got 3 of these.

It was a great way to start the day out. Then we headed over to
Texas Eqqsearch to see what all we needed to go on a search. We got called this morning but we were on the walk. So we are planning on going tomorrow. I have to get hiking boots that are snake proof or get snake proof chaps, walking sticks, first aid kit, etc. So now we are off to go shopping.
