Jesus said in Luke 4, “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”
Friend, God is on a mission of hope, life and freedom. Do you know how He accomplishes that mission? Through you and me—we are His hands and feet on earth. We are His representatives. We are the ones to bring hope, life and freedom to the world.
One way we are being the hands and feet of Jesus is by partnering with Force 4 Compassion and hosting the Hope and Freedom Walk-A-Thon to stop human trafficking in our city. Did you know that Houston is one of the leading cities in the world where human trafficking takes place? The average age of girls who are taken is just 12 years old. Now more than ever, we need to cover our children with prayer and reach out to help those who are recovering from this horrible slavery. All proceeds from the walk will help fund shelters that provide medical care, psychological care, education, job training and reintegration for human-trafficking survivors.
We want to invite you to join us Saturday, January 26 in the Galleria Area. Click here for more information or call 713-491-5201.
We love you and look forward to seeing you this weekend!

We would love for you to join us!
