We got up and headed to hill country to see if we could find the blue bonnets.
And we did!

Then we took pictures with Sammy
Then Sammy said enough!! And away he went!
We took off and just kept driving
I loved this church
Came across this sad place
Went through a town called Lockhart
I love their courthouse
We ended up in Gruene
A really neat litte town where
singers like Dwight Yoakam
Leon Russell
and Willie Nelson comes to play music.
by the river.
What a beautful day.
Sammy loved it.
He spotted a cat that held his attention for a long time
We walked through some of the little shops
then headed back toward Houston but had to
stop at
Buc-ee's
to get Sammy some jerky/ He loves their elk, venison and pork jerky.
At $30.00 a pound he only gets one kind of jerky. He also got
a pork and venison stick. He was a happy puppy!!!
If you have ever been to a Buc-ee's
you know they have the best restrooms
in the entire country.
We are now home and tired. Going to get some sleep.
We are getting up early to work on getting the house ready
to put on the market.
