Strawberry Avocado Salad review!


Strawberry Avocado Salad
Wow! Is this salad ever good. It has just enough sweetness, with the crunch of the pecans, and the

wonderful taste of avocado. Love, love, love this salad. Don also loved it. I will make this again and again. Just delicious!

Ingredients:
I somehow forgot the green onions and the lemon juice


Chop lettuce and put in bowl

slice and add strawberries



chop and add green onions

chop and add avocado

Mix sugar

olive oil

honey

cider vinegar

lemon juice

Mix well

Pour over salad just before serving


Mix well

Enjoy!  

Recipe:
Prep Time 15 minutes
Servings 2

1 teaspoon white sugar
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 teaspoons honey
1 tablespoon cider vinegar
1 teaspoon lemon juice
3 or 4 green onions chopped
2 cups torn salad greens
1 avocado - peeled, pitted and
sliced or chopped
10 strawberries, sliced
1/2 cup chopped pecans

In a small bowl, whisk together the sugar, olive oil, honey, vinegar, and lemon juice. Set aside.

2.
Place the salad greens in a pretty bowl, and top with sliced avocado, green onions and strawberries. Drizzle dressing over everything, then sprinkle with pecans. Refrigerate for up to 2 hours before serving, or serve immediately.

Enjoy!

I just put some roasted chicken with it for a really light meal.

This looks and sounds delicious, Lenetta! I'll have to try this with an alternative dressing because of the carbs, but I'm learning how to do that....lol! The strawberries look so pretty.
