Storing pineapple

Everyone seems to really be interested in this  tool to get the pineapple out. It is one of my favorite kitchen goodies.

I think people liked this for the party ideas and the way it looked. It's a very pretty setup and a lot of fun to do. And everyone likes a good party!!

This one was just too cute with him scratching backs. He's really really good at it too. It feels great. And everyone loves a cute animal of any type. And he is a real cutie!!

Most people love good ribs. Most men love great ribs. These are great ribs. So tender they fall off the bones and the flavor is amazing. Ribs just don't come better than these.

GREEN BEAN CASSEROLE REVIEW!!

GREEN BEAN CASSEROLE

 I am only giving this 3 stars. I just thought it could have been much better. It may have been my 

BLACK FRIDAY SHOPPING!! NOT!!

Went out at midnight to Kohls to check

 out their 500 door busters. 

The lines were insane

This was maybe a fourth of it

We started looking around and Don went one way and I went the other. 

I walked by the checkout line and started following it to the end.

 It went from the front of the store all the way to the back wall 

and around. I have never seen anything like this. I went and

 found Don and he had just seen it too. Since our Christmas shopping is

 pretty much finished we agreed to leave. lol 

Back home by 1:15am.  

So much for shopping at midnight!!

The biggest one is Google.  Pinterest is the other one. And of course Facebook.

Google is my favorite. Thank goodness for that bloh tool.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL!!

I HOPE EVERYONE HAS HAD A GREAT DAY WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS.

We had a great day spending time with Don's parents. His daughters were here and it was great sitting around with them. I missed my family but I talked to most of them. My girls both had good days so was happy about that.  We have tons of food left so no cooking tomorrow. Then Saturday more family and friends are coming.  The weather was amazing today. it was 83 degrees. Awesome weather. Hope it stays this way all winter.  I would love it.  I hate cold weather. 

Now we are all sitting around stuffed, trying to stay awake.  I think this is as traditional as the turkey.  :)

10. Why did you start blogging and what is your blog about?

I started blogging because my daughter, (quite the blogger),

really thought I would enjoy doing it. Once I decided to start blogging, I decided I wanted to blog about recipes mostly and to make them easy to follow for new cooks. Also, I thought it would be a great way for my family to keep up with what I am doing. 
I enjoy checking out the other blogs and have found a few that I follow often. The hardest part about blogging is finding the time to keep up with it. Especially around the holidays!! :)

What are your goals? Parenting, Life, Career?

My goal at this point in my life if to try and just be happy with whatever I am doing. Although, my biggest goal is not to become a burden on or to my daughters. 


As a Parent, I can only hope that I have done my job well.. I feel like I have, and I am very proud of my girls, I hope that I have done things that they will want to pass on to their children. 

My life is very content and happy. 

My work has always been so much fun working with the kids.

BREAKING DAWN REVIEW!!

 ONE FANTASTIC MOVIE

THIS MOVIE WAS AMAZING!! 

Some great parts of this movie that you just don't see coming.

 I love the twists and turns it takes. They really need

 to continue these. If not, they will be missed.  

Sad to think there are no more of them.

Really not convinced of that yet!

But seriously, I could see Edward playing
