DC 2nd Day, Metro, Food Trucks, Museums, Ducks

Our second day in Washington, DC began by getting ready and finding the Metro.

Laci gave me a lesson on how to get around on it.

We headed down toward the Capitol.

We met up with

Kelseewho was leaving later in the day to go to England. It was so nice hanging out with her and Laci. They get along so well. We went and had lunch off of the food trucks.

We each picked a different one to get food at. When we sat down to eat, it was funny because we each one had chosen lamb. Mine was a lamb gyro, Kelsee had a salad with lamb, and Laci had lamb ?????

We sat in the park in front of the capital on the ground and ate while enjoying each others companys. Then Laci and I walked Kelsee to her bus stop

and after we finally found it, we waited with her and helped her get all her stuff on the bus.

Laci will meet up with her again on March 25th in London. I hope they get to see each other once in a while. She’s a real sweetheart and her and Laci really hit it off. After we saw her off, Laci and I headed to the

Museum of Natural History.

It was very interesting. And free.  Afterwards we headed back to the hotel and had a late

dinner and drinks. We talked again, late into the evening while watching Duck Dynasty.

I can’t believe we were watching it but we were. We really liked it. She decided to draw on the bottom of my foot.

We fell asleep sometime after 2 am. What a wonderful day.
