Easy Beans, Potatoes and Bacon
This side dish is easy to make and very delicious. Fry up some bacon, throw everything in a crock pot and wala!! A great side
dish with just over 100 calories per serving. Very good the next day also.

Ingredients:
Fry bacon-Reserve 1 tablespoon drippings
Add all other ingredients in crock pot
Mix in 1 Tablespoon bacon drippings
Cook for 6-8 hours
Add bacon, heat cook until warm
Serve
Easy Beans, Potatoes & Bacon Recipe:
Prep- 15 minutes
Cook 6 hours
Makes: 10 servings (3/4 cup each)
** I halved this recipe
8 bacon strips chopped
1 1/2 pounds fresh green beans trimmed
and cut into pieces. ** (I left mine whole)
4 medium potatoes peeled and cubed **(I used small red potatoes with peelings left on)
1-small onion sliced
1/4 cup reduced-sodium chicken broth **(I used 1/2 cup)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
In a skillet cook bacon until crisp. Remove to paper towels. Reserve 1 tablespoon drippings
Cover bacon until serving. Refrigerate
In a crock pot, combine the remaining ingredients, stir in reserved drippings. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until potatoes are tender. Stir in bacon. Heat through.
