FILL IN THE __________ FRIDAY!!

"The best way to spread Christmas cheer is..."

with several bottles of wine, great food, friends, family, Don and my puppy.

2.  The holiday season is

is my favorite time of the year. I love having my Christmas wrapped and finished before December so I can go to the malls and walk around without having to stand in all the lines. I love the hustle and bustle at Christmas and all the Christmas music playing everywhere.

3.  When it comes to holiday decorating...

I love to decorate but if I am not going to be home for Christmas I don't do alot. I still do some so the people that house sit for us will still have some decorations around along with some nice snacks sitting around.

4. The thing I look forward to most about the holidays is

getting to see my girls. That makes my Christmas complete.

5. My favorite holiday tradition is

making an angel food cake and singing Happy Birthday to Jesus. Also, opening presents the night before we are supposed to has become a tradition with my girls. They open some of them but not all. Also Laci thinks she should get them all before Christmas. lol

6. This year my Christmas plans include

spending special time with my girls. Can't wait.

7.  My favorite holiday food is

just sampling all the goodies sitting around. I don't know that I have a favorite holiday food. Does Moscato count??!! :)

Lincoln review!!

LINCOLN REVIEW

This movie was very good. It was pretty true to the facts. But it was at times, several times really, it was pretty slow. It was still a pretty good movie.

MOVIE INFO

Steven Spielberg directs Daniel Day-Lewis in Lincoln, a revealing drama that focuses on the 16th President's tumultuous final months in office. In a nation divided by war and the strong winds of change, Lincoln pursues a course of action designed to end the war, unite the country and abolish slavery. With the moral courage and fierce determination to succeed, his choices during this critical moment will change the fate of generations to come. -- (C) Walt Disney
PG-132 hr. 29 min.

The actors in this movie were great. The main actor
Daniel Day Lewis was amazing. The make up was
fantastic

Red Dawn Review!!

RED DAWN REVIEW

I am giving this movie 4 stars even though the reviews I have read didn't seem to care for it. It is a super intense movie. I wasn't sure I was going to be able to sit through it. I loved it and Don said he thought it was a really good movie. I did not see the first one, but I may have to check it out.

MOVIE INFO

In Red Dawn, a city in Washington state awakens to the surreal sight of foreign paratroopers dropping from the sky - shockingly, the U.S. has been invaded and their hometown is the initial target. Quickly and without warning, the citizens find themselves prisoners and their town under enemy occupation. Determined to fight back, a group of young patriots seek refuge in the surrounding woods, training and reorganizing themselves into a guerrilla group of fighters. Taking inspiration from their high school mascot, they call themselves the Wolverines, banding together to protect one another, liberate their town from its captors, and take back their freedom.

PG-131 hr. 33 min.

I loved the main actor. I thought he was
awesome.
Chris Hemsworth

After the first 5 or 10 minutes into the movie all hell breaks loose and it pretty much stays that way through the entire movie. It kept me on the edge of my seat just about the whole time. There was a couple of things in the movie that I didn't see coming. I was quite surprised  by these events towards the end of the movie.
This movie is kind of an eye-opener, because this could happen here for real and that's scary.

"It's OK Thursday!!

IT'S OK
That I slept longer than I wanted to today. I had so much I wanted to get done today. But I will get enough done.

IT"S OK
that I had to remind someone that when everything seems wrong, and there's no light at the end of the tunnel, to just get down on her knees and give it all to God. He may not give you what you want, but he will always give you what you need. He has never once, ever, let me down. And he hasn't her either.

IT'S OK

If I don't get all my goals finished for the week. I still may, but if not, I will just add them on to next weeks goals.

IT'S OK
that this is the holiday season, and it sometimes makes me very sad, and I miss my girls. I know I will see them in about 4 weeks for Christmas. Can't wait.

IT'S OK
if Don seems distant right now, he has so much studying to do for a big test coming up in a couple of weeks. He needs to spend all his spare time studying. He got behind over the Thanksgiving weekend because of all the family we had in. But thats also ok, because family comes first.  I am proud of him for doing so.

IT'S OK
that I give the men standing on the corner a few dollars now and then. I know Don doesn't think I should, and I certainly don't all of them, but when my heartstrings get tugged, I feel it's God asking me to help this one, and I do. It's ok, really.

IT'S OK
if I over do Christmas for the kids. I buy the entire year, so by the time December rolls around, I am finished and guess what!  Because I do buy all year, by December they do seem to have a lot, and that's quite ok by me.

IT'S OK
that I love my Sammy Boy as much as I do.

IT'S OK
that I did not win the lotto last night. I know I am going to win. Just don't know the exact date.

Happy Thursday
