WELCOME!!

It is time to say good-bye to one of my favorite months and enter into January.  I will miss December and will be anticipating it all year. 

As we enter into January, we enter into a new year. A time for new hopes, new dreams, new friends, and new memories. 

I sure hope you are as good to me as December was. 

I don't know what we have going on this month but hopefully it will be full of happiness and love.

Hello 2013 & Goals this Year!!

WELCOME

I am looking so forward to a wonderful year!!

We already have a couple of trips planned. 

I pray that my family and friends are all safe and have a great year also.

I do have a couple New Year Resolutions!!

Find something else to volunteer  in

Do something outside my comfort zone

Work on my book for the girls more

Have at least 6 giveaways!

Get a blogging schedule

Make lots of new blog friends-1000 by 2014

Take better care of my health

Get in shape before March

Find a new church

Unplug!!
 Pick a couple of days a week to turn all computers, and televisions off,  and no texting or phone except for phone calls. Spend more time with Don and get more things done because of it.

Stay as happy, if not happier in 2013 as I was in 2012. 2012 was a very good year. I want 2013 to at least match 2012. That will make me very happy.

Nice easy day!!

                                     Yesterday was and easy day. I did nothing. Stayed in my

1. Favorite New Years eve you’ve had before:

Leaving the year 1999 and entering the year 2000

We were on a  Royal Caribbean cruise.

It was the smallest cruise ship I had ever been on and I didn't think it would be much fun. It turned out to be as much if not more fun than the really big ships. And it had an amazing celebration bringing in 

 the year 2000.

2. Are you doing anything for NYE this year and if so what?

We are going to dinner with Meagan and Zac. Then to a comedy club, then to CityCenter to bring in 2013. Should be a fun evening.

3. Name a book we should all read come January?

The Devil in the White City.

I just now found out they are making this into a movie.

I am so excited. This was a great read. There's a lot of history in this book about a serial killer named  H. H. Holmes.  This is a true story back in the 1800's.

4. What are your new years resolutions?

I have several but I really hope to be a more loving, generous, forgiving and patient person. I also want to be and eat healthier, get more in shape, and to be as happy, if not happier than I was in 2012. The year 2012 was very good to me. I hope 2013 can hold its own with that.
